The class watched the winner's pitch for a TV commercial for the NFL annual contest twice. Then, the class was asked to watch the ad once the idea was turned over for an ad agency for production. Afterward the class noted the differences, but also how the integrity of the initial idea was saved. Murf told the class, that each of them had been given the idea for the paint brochure, and that it was up to them to make a finished product; and that Murf was the Client (NFL).
Murf then explained (angrily) how disappointed he was in the performance of the class on the day before; that as copy-writers each of them was dragging their feet about the project.
